Feeling kinda lost right now… cause I’ve finally finished the last episode of ‘Sex and the City’.
Took me a few weeks to finish all 6 seasons (94 episodes in all). I usually watch way faster than that but TY wouldn’t watch it with me so… yeah. I just need some time to emo over the end of this wonderful series and I’ll be fine soon. *sigh*
Sex and the City isn’t really all about ‘sexual humour’. The show follows the lives of a group of four women—three in their mid-thirties and one in her forties—who, despite their different natures and ever-changing sex lives, remain inseparable and confide in each other.
One of the characters, Carrie, is a sex & relationship column writer for a newspaper. Sometimes, she asks interesting questions in her columns, like below:
“Do you have to play games to make a relationship work?” – Season 2, Episode 13
“Can you ever really forgive, if you can’t forget?” – Season 4, Episode 7
The friendship they have also makes me envious. I’m sure all of us have had some close friends who drifted apart eventually at some crossroads; like when we’re going to different schools, starting work etc.
Some friends make an effort to stay in contact and sadly, some don’t. There’s some people who are always ‘busy’ and not able to make it for meetups. If someone really matters to you, you’ll always find time. I hope to always stay close to my group of friends down the road and that we’ll never grow apart despite going through different phases of life.
