Oh gawd I wanna try a cronut so bad! Was watching 2 broke girls and learnt about this cronut that’s apparently the new big thing. Move along donuts, make way for cronuts!
A CRONUT = half croissant, half donut and it looks like this ↓
It was created sometime back in May this year by Pastry chef Dominique Ansel. He only makes 200-250 of this everyday though, so the lines start preeeeeeety early (at like, 6am everyday)!
But of course, there’s bound to be people who jump on the bandwagon and making their own versions! So since we can’t fly to US to taste the original one, might as well try the local versions first…
